stan tomlin Name: Donna (Dykes) Pepper CommentsMy sister sent me this website - what a stroll down Memory Lane. I was only in Ozark for my senior year - never lived there after graduating from Auburn, but have great memories. Live in Atlanta now for past 34 years. This site makes me want to attend the next reunion! War Eagle always! CommentsIt is wonderful to see this website, I am not from Ozark, I was an army brat.. But I have many fond memories of Carroll High School.. If anyone from the class of 67 remembers me contact me at my email address... Thanks CommentsI was saddened to see thru this website that Ronald Byrd Carson had passed away.. In High School he was so sweet.. Can anyone tell me what happened to him.. I am not from Ozark, I was an army brat.. and the only contacts i have had since 1970 has been Rebecca Cotton and Karen Archer, neither knew his fate.. thanks Regina from Texas
CommentsI attended Carroll highschool in 66 and 67, I was an army brat.. but I will never forget Alabama.. I knew nothing of home town or roots, but from this rural community I began to understand the importance of belonging some where.. I am in Texas, where my people have lived since before Texas was a state.. I have been here 35 years and have found my roots.. Thank you Ozark for heading me in the right direction... Respectfully Regina from Texas
CommentsI am looking for survivors of the class of 1967, it was comprised of military brats like me. But I have wonderful memories of the place. I stayed in contact with Rebecca Cotton for years and have lost contact now. If there is any one from that class still around email me, I would like to hear from you. I married Green Miller from Enterprise in 68,he was killed in 70 and I came to texas and have been here every since. Would like to hear from some of you guys...Bye now
CommentsThe reunion was a big success, at least for me and my husband,Robert. It was wonderful seeing old friends again and reconnecting with some very dear ones.I was disappointed that there wasn't more there. After all, some of us came from as far away as Texas but a lot wouldn't even come across town.I sure wish they had ,we would have loved to have seen everyone!!!!
CommentsI was happy to see Jim remembered (memorial page-Class of 1967). He loved CHS and always regaled us with things going on. His life, like the lives of many others, was cut short but they will all be remembered.
