Recently, while deep sea diving off the coast of Florida's panhandle, I came across something gold and shiny on the ocean floor. (Was I in the Lord of the Rings movie?) One can only imagine how excited I was--fortune!--but it turned out only to be a class ring from 1969 from Carroll High. How does the saying go, "One man's treasure...."

Anyway, I'd like to help the ring find its way back home. (Mount Doom?)

The initials RM are engraved inside. I don't know if that is the ring maker (literally RM) or what they designate.

If you'd like to post a message that will help locate its owner, go right ahead. When you find one, send a mailing address to my e-mail address.

The site was a little difficult to find - in fact, my sister clued me in to it. It looks good. I am glad to see this information made available. Perhaps some of the older sites - the yahoo board, for example - could be searched an alumni listed on them contacted so that we could have the most comprehensive list? Also, will this information be used to contact alumni regarding class reunions? Although I had been contacted for previous ones, I was not advised of last year's, and was saddened to miss it. Thanks for the work put into this listing.
