Local Events Schools had an opening enrollment of 3,665 students in the Ozark City School System. Wilbur Jackson was presented a Distinguished Service Award by Mayor Billy Blackmon in recognition of his membership on the Washington Redskins Super Bowl Championship football team of 1983. National Events A $180 million out-of-court settlement was announced in the Agent Orange class-action suit brought by Vietnam veterans who charged they had suffered injury from exposure to the defoliant. Guion S. Bluford Jr. became the first
black American astronaut to travel in space, blasting off aboard the Challenger. World Events 269 people were killed when a Korean Air Lines Boeing 747 was shot down by a Soviet jet fighter after the airliner entered Soviet airspace. A Colombian Avianca Airlines Boeing 747 crashed, killing 183 people. CommentsDoes anyone remember the CRASY KRAUT KRELLER? I graduated after summerschool in 1984. Then I attended Enterprise State 'till 1986. Back in Germany it took allmost 20 jears to find something about my "american past". This site is a great help. Had a lot of fun, back then, hadn't we!!!!

CommentsAlthough I did not graduate at Carroll High. I graduated from Enterprise High School in 1984. But I grew up in Ozark and went to Carroll High until halfway through the 10th grade. Then my family moved to Enterprise. I remember a lot of the people from '84. Keep up the good work. Thanks

Since I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and don't get home as often as I wish, it was nice to find email addresses to old friends I haven't talked to or seen in a long time.
