Name: Mitchell Woodham CommentsHello Class of '88. 20th year reunion is around the corner! It is nice to read the posts. Wish more would write (but can't say anything... this is my first one!) I stayed in Ozark after finishing TSUD; married Teri Campbell from Blue Springs and we have two beautiful children (Chloe - 7 and Tucker - 3 months). I am the Inventory Control/Purchasing Manager for Craftmaster Manufacturing Inc in Ozark. I have enjoyed traveling throughtout the US (to include Alaska)/Mexico and to where-ever Michael (my brother) moves next! Oh, Michael and I still look alike... bald! Would like to hear from anyone and everyone! Take care. Good luck. God bless! Name: Melinda Foote Mezze CommentsHappy New Year Everyone! Hope everyone is doing well! We have been settled here in Atlanta just over a year now and enjoying it. Ive ventured into life as a Realtor. What a crazy market Atlanta is! Husband is a year and a half away from 20 years in the Army and perhaps retirement. Interesting thought that is! The kids are growing. Yasmin will turn 16 this summer and is helping me keep my hairdresser in her Mercedes due to all my trips in there to color my greys. (I didnt look like THAT at 15!! Heck, Im about to turn 37 and STILL dont look like that!! WTH???!!!!) Brent, our son, is 7 and has taught me alot.. About patience namely.. LOL My mom always said one day I would be paid back with a child who would test me like I did her.. Boy why is it mom's are ALWAYS right? lol But he is a sweet child most times.. It's those OTHER times that send me screaming to the funny farm.. Im looking forward to a 20 year reunion as well. I already told dh that we were going to attend mine when it came around since we went to his 10 year and not my 10 year. My dad is still out at Ft Rucker and my mom is still teaching school. Some things will never change it seems. I try to get down to Ozark about once a month or so. I havent seen anyone from HS in several years though. Feel free to drop me an email and let me know how things are going. You can also check out my website at www.melindamezze.com Smiles Mel Name: Mark Shipman Commentshey guys! hard to believe it's been almost 20 years. well except for when i get out of bed in the morning. feels like I'm 63 instead of 36. I talked to Brady Clark about Amanda's kids. He said he talked to Chris and that the kids were doing as well as you could expect. Leanne hope you've grown an inch or 2 since high school. Otherwise your cats are taller than you. Just kidding. Hopefully we will be having a 20 year reunion. I have seen maybe 5 people from high school since we graduated. It would be good to catch up. Anyone interested you can hit me on my email rshipman3049@charter.net Name: Leeanne (Bell) Jones CommentsHi everyone! Just hanging out in Frankfurt, Germany...freezing my butt off! I enjoyed reading the other entries. I'm living here with my husband and two cats (no kids). No, we are NOT military. Everybody assumes that when they find out we live in Germany. He's a chemical engineer with a German chemical company so we are doing a stint here. We'll return to Mobile, AL (hopefully in 2008) after here. Leslie Harlow, I can't believe you have 4 children. I still picture you with your white camaro and the two of us singing "White Guys Rap"! Time really does fly. I hope everyone is doing well. Send me an email to catch up! Name: Amy Burns Hughes CommentsSorry to hear about Amanda. She was a sweet girl in high school. Well guys...our 20th reunion is coming up fast. Have any plans been made? I see Kirke Adams from time to time, but nobody else. If anybody wants to chat, just e-mail me. I'm always on line talking to friends through e-mail. I have several e-mail pen pals. Everybody take care and I'll see you at the reunion....if we have one. Miss the "good ole days", Amy Name: Bobbie Spencer CommentsI found out today and Amanda Faulk passed away September 19, 2006. She was a very warm and caring person and will be missed by all who kenw her. We will miss you Amanda. Name: Jeremy Kemp Commentshey...has anyone seen or heard from Randy Morris recently? I think that the last thing that I heard, he was working for City of Dothan in engineering or something...anybody know anything? Name: Jeremy Kemp CommentsLOL...what is up with everybody busting my stones? LOL Funny...speaking of myspace....if you have one....let me know! you can find me under the skidaddie1221 tag on myspace. I'm still here. I am married (Michael) with 4 children- Ages 12 (Benjamin) ,12 (Jonathan),13(Rebecca) and 15 (Joshua). I am finishing up my masters degree for nurse practitioner. I'll be working at Dr. Chandler's office after graduation and then I'll complete my doctrate by next year. I know it's taken me a long time to get through school but I'm done after this. Ya'll can come see me for any ailments. Don't even think about a prescription for Viagra- Jeremy!!! By the way Jeremy- my brother showed me a picture of you on myspace- you still have a sexy bod!! I miss you guys and I hope to see you at our 20 year reunion. Leslie Name: Amy Bell Lockard CommentsHey, ya'll. I am trying to get in touch with Eric Baker. Anyone out there with a clue. He and I corresponded for a while when he was with the Petro co., but we have lost touch. If anyone knows how to reach him, let me know..... Also-- what are we doing about the twenty-year reunion that should be coming up year-after-next?? Amy Name: James Simmons CommentsHey guys and gals! Hope all is well with the 88 crew. It has been a blast seeing the guys during the last few get togethers. Everett, Jeremy and I are planning our next guys weekend for Labor day 2006. We should have a location set by the end of May. Send me an email and let me know how things are going. hope to hear from you soon. Name: James Coste CommentsJust thought I'd add a message to the guestbook. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm the proud father of 3 kids, age 11, 7, and 5. That's enough...trust me. I wonder if we'll have a 20 year class reunion in a couple of years? Feel free to check out my family website to see how I've aged over the past 18 years (http://home.jamescoste.com). I still stay in touch with Shannon "Windham" McGonogal from the Ozark area, as well as Gregg and Pam "Armstrong" Cobb when I visit "home". Name: Kendall Hughes CommentsHey everyone from Class of 1988. It's me Kendall,I am married with two daughters, one is 14 and the other one is 7. Youngest attends Lisenby and the oldest attends D.A. Smith. I own six poultry houses on hwy 27,been in business since 1994 and still going at this point in time. After graduation i attended Wallace College for 2 years, moved on to Auburn University and majored in poultry science. Got married in 1997 to a beautiful girl fron Savannah Georgia, her name is Tina. We had our first child in June of 1998. This is my update to those who havent seen or heard from me since high school. God Bless and I hope to hear from some of you in the near future. Name: Jason Walker CommentsWow! What a trip to read the names and have all sorts of flashbacks. Quick catch up- I did a short stint in the Navy; got out and went to Flight school in Ozark; moved to Tallahassee and spent a few years as a lead singer going on tour and putting out a CD; got out when I found out I was going to be a dad; went back to school and earned my undergrad in art(sculpture) and Masters in Art Therapy. Got a job with Gatorade for a couple of years until I opened up a decorative concrete company. I have been going strong for 2 years and am expanding from Tallahassee to PC and up to Krazo. Check out what we do at dreamcrete.com. I spent last weekend in Oz with Pat Best (who owns a newspaper in ATL called The Sunday Paper), Mark Carr, Ashley Sweezy, and Jason Harlow. Talk about a change of pace. Hey what's up rockers? You going to the make-up Crue concert in march '06? I will be with Mark and Pat there, for sure! I am the proud dad of two awesome boys. Their mom lives in Dothan with them, but I get them every other weekend. I hope to hear from you all and I wish you the best! Jason Walker Name: Jeannie Burden CommentsMerry Christmas, class of 88! It has certainly been a long time. Hope all is well with everyone. I definitely think a 20 year reunion sounds like a blast. I can find out if I'm getting old, by remembering names/faces. I'm currently home for the holidays with my daughter, Ashlynn. I'm living in Baton Rouge. Currently, the craziest city in Louisiana. I have turned into an LSU fan "GO TIGERS"! Still single, and seriously boring. I work, try to keep up w/Ashlynn and her activities, and go to school part-time. The highlight of my week is watching The Golden Girls or M.A.S.H. I would love to hear from anyone. Take care guys! Love you always, Jeannie Name: Melinda (Foote) Mezze CommentsWhoever mentioned how long it has been since graduation, BITE YOUR TONGUE!! No more reminders at how we are starting on our downhill side of our 30's.. LOL It has been entertaining reading through all of the postings though. We are currently in Columbia, SC for another month. My husband has been stationed here at Ft Jackson for the last 2 years as a Drill Sgt. but since his promotion he has taken an assignment in Atlanta so we are headed there mid-October for 3 years, after that, who knows, either take a SGM slot or retire. We did get a 3 year tour at Rucker prior to here which was nice. We have two kids, a son, 6, and a daughter 14, (she's my step but she lives with us and for all purposes she is mine). I worked in Hospital Administration for several years but for the past 2 years have been staying home with the kids. Anyway, nice to see some familiar "faces" are still around. Smiles Melinda Name: Mike Woodham CommentsHello All: Like most of the posts here, I was surfing and came accross this site. I was surprised it had the number of postings from our class. I would also like to hear from everyone/anyone, just to get caught up with what is going on with my old friends. It sounds like some of you have been keeping in touch (that's great) while some of us have been "absent" (sorry). Regardless, I'm here now. I hope to hear back from you. I must say, I had some "very fond memories" when I saw some of the names posted. I wish I could go back and replay those times. I'd give my right arm to have those times again. I was double-ly blessed to go to college with Scott Grantham and Amy Burns and those memories are treasured as well. To fill you in on the here and now...To start with, I'm bald (yep..It all left). I'm just as ugly (even more so)as I was in high school. I'm still married to Melanie Murphy (class of 89). We have two great kids, Caitlin 11, Riley 8. We have just moved to Hickory, NC. I'm an engineering manager with a company that manufactures construction equipment attachments. Melanie has taught school and now is into real estate. We have lived in Alabama, Tennessee, Iowa and now North Carolina. If anyone wants to stop in to visit, they are always welcome. I'll stop boring you with details but I would really love to hear from my old buddies. Name: Keith Skeen CommentsYo yo yo daddy'o. What's up CHS class of '88. it's funny to see my old pal Jeremy's comments on here. He has a strange habit of making his way around the internet. I don't see a lot of my old classmates but i'm still in the area. I live in Dothan and i am finally married. I didn't think it would ever happen. I do see Jeremy and Larry Free pretty regular. Larry and i chased our rockstar roots for as long as we could but I finally had to give mine up. I did get the chance to play in a band and travel on the road for a while. It was pretty wild. I would love to hear from some of you that used to raise a little hell with us. Does anyone know how to get in touch with Brent Stephens? Name: mark shipman Commentshi guys...been awhile since i've been to the website...glad to say i got a couple of hits since the last time..talked to alex (chico) rosado...and jay tomlin..and staci haverfield...felt good to hear from some of the old gang...by the way amy bell...we've known each other 30 years now..damn..long time huh?...for those that don't know...amy and i were in pre-school together..drop me a line sometimes people..living in b'ham with my wife and 19 month old son...yolanda and rj...lata..mark Name: Tony Franks CommentsThe glory of the computer age. I'm currently a motor officer for the Dothan Police Dept. and I'm sitting at a desk due to a wreck that I had doing a funeral escort. I think the only person I have seen in the past five years from school would be Jeremy Kemp( cause he needs the favors of law enforcement, you know). Name: Jeremy Kemp CommentsWe are having a "pre-gathering" this week here in Orlando as Eric Baker, Todd Benson and Nicole Armstrong are rolling into town. We will be in Tampa on Friday for the Tom Petty / Black Crowes show. Name: Katrina Stephens CommentsHello everyone, Just found this website. Wow, what a blast from the past. I've often wondered about everyone. I hope you are all well, someone drop me a line and catch me up on who you can. Katrina Name: Amy "Burns" Hughes CommentsJeremy, It's good to hear that you and the "guys" still hang out together. I miss hanging out with Scott Grantham and the rest of the crew. You guys always made me laugh! We all had some great times. We all need to get together and have a "reunion" of sorts in Ozark some time. Hope all is well with everyone. When you see Eric, Chad and Scott please tell them I said hello and that they do cross my mind from time to time. I'm always wondering what everybody is up to these days. We are all getting close to 40! Gosh that sounds awful. I'm still 16 inside though! Anyway, e-mail sometime and pass the word around to the guys as well. Take care and have a blast!! Amy Burns Hughes Name: Angela Davidson Salgy CommentsJeremy, I have to say it sounds like y'all will be having a great time in Atlanta--and with that bunch of guys, how could you not? It's funny (and a little bit scary) how quickly seventeen years have passed; like you, there are days when I still feel like a teenager...but I'm very glad that I'm not! And Amy Bell, I'm with you on a 20 year reunion--I'm moving back up to Virginia (currently in Florida) soon, but I'd love to help any way I could. Name: Jeremy Kemp CommentsJust sitting here having my 300th cup of coffee, dreading going to the office for the day and thought that I would check out the site to see if there is a pulse. Nice to see some of you stopping by. It had not really hit me until I saw Amy's (Bell) post, but the 17 years have FLOWN BY! I still feel like a kid! Perhaps it's the coffee?) For what it is worth, several of the Ozark guys are getting together in Atlanta in September for the MOTLEY CRUE concert there. We figured that it would only be fitting to go old school and tear down the place with a "guys" weekend in Hotlanta. If you are in the area and want to be entertained, get in contact with me! List of some of the suspects from the 1988 crew includes: Myself, Everett Brackin, Todd Benson, James Simmons, Scott Grantham, Chad Czarnecki and Eric Baker. There will be about at a dozen total Ozark fellas there for the weekend outside of the 1988 boys. Should be a BLAST! PS, if you happen to talk to Eric Baker, don't mention this. He has no idea at this point and I have no fear of him checking this or any alum site for activity. Name: Julie McDowell Hisaw CommentsHello Friends! Although I did not graduate with you all after moving the summer of 86, I have many very fond memories of my days at CHS. I think of many of you often wondering where the paths of adulthood may have taken you. I miss my dear friend Lisa Bradley whom I didnt learn of her death until nearly a year after it occurred. I think of the good times with Amy Burns, Kim Biron and Katrina Stephens. And those memorable football games and band trips. We often look back not knowing what things will forever change you...not that Id want go back but that we wouldnt be the people we are today if not for those times. Happily living in South Georgia with my husband of 13 years and 2 ½ year old son. Would love to hear from you. juliemhisaw@yahoo.com Name: Amy "Burns" Hughes CommentsHey guys! I haven't seen any of you since the 10 year reunion. Most I haven't seen since graduation! I just wanted to drop a note to see if anybody ever really checked out this website. I live in Dothan with my daughter and husband. If you are reading this, please e-mail me as I would love to hear from you. I don't draw anymore but I am very much into photography and I always enter the Peanut Festival Photography contest if you ever want to see my work. Anyway, e-mail me! Amy Name: Amy Bell Lockard CommentsFormer classmates-- can you all believe that it has been 17 years since we graduated??? Those of you who remember me probably remember what a dreamer I was. I thought that I would be 16 forever.... wow...... Anyway, I think of you guys often. I was wondering whether many of us are thinking ahead to a 20 year reunion. If there are any other class or SGA officers out there who will be working on this, let me know. I would love to join in. Amy Bell Lockard CommentsLove to hear from anyone... Name: Jeremy Kemp Class_of: 1988 Date: 28 Jul 2004
CommentsToo cool...ya know... I thought about posting a little note up here and spilling the beans on those of you that I have remained in contact with over the MANY years since we left CHS behind! (Eric Baker, Kevin Dorenkott, Chad Czarnecki, Keith Skeen, or Larry Free....you can thank me later! LOL) Anyway, if anyone would like to drop me a line, feel free to do so! Chances are, I would love to hear from you! I am currently living in Orlando and know that most of you make visits with your kids to Disney and Universal so, look me up! Take Care all! Jeremy PS: Tommy Mays...I remember you! I think that the African American statement could be up for debate though! CommentsHey people!!!! I saw your pictures!!! They were good!
